Hello. My Name is Johnathan and I am a Slacker

I can't believe it has been over two months since I last posted an entry on MOTG. If Daron was my boss, he would have fired me and I would have deserved it! I don't think that there is anything more frustrating that going to your favorite blog and not seeing updates. I apologize profusely for my lack of initiative and diligence and I intend to start making up for it.

Look for a blitzkrieg of blog entries from me within the week as I have a lot to say about the year that was and the year to come.

MOTG - now on Twitter

OK, I'll admit I've been a lousy blogger this year. Honestly without Johnathan picking up the blogging slack we may as well have dropped off the interweb. I will say that between working full time, being in school nearly full time and trying to renovate a house. Finding the time to post well researched and at least half decently written posts just hasn't been in the cards for me. Not that I'm making excuses. I do remember Jeff from the old Ramblin' Racket before hanging up his keyboard said that, "Blogging is basically a non-paying part-time job." Or something like that. Let me say, to do this right, never have truer words been spoken.

So... In an effort to try and push out info MOTG will now be bringing you nuggets of useless info 140 characters at the time. This coming from a guy who fought social media/networking for a long time. Didn't ever want a MySpace page, then I caved. Said I'd never get a Facebook page, then I gave in. Swore I never could see why people would bother with Twitter, and here we are.

I will say that I have become fond of Twitter personally. I use it a lot of school and work. It's a great way to get information. And unlike Facebook it's largely noise free. Meaning no Farmville.

So, follow us, join in the discussion and let's see where this experiment takes us. It might crash and burn, or it might breathe new life into MOTG, we shall see.
