Do You Think He Was Expecting This???

Apparently, the students at Tech decided that after they tore down the goal post that it would be nice if they dropped by the President's house and pay him a visit. After all, nothing says "Victory" like damaging school property and then taking that property to the man who is in charge of it. It's kind of like your dog bringing a dead bird to you as a gift and then proceeding to wipe your kitchen floor with it.

But then it appears that Mr. President is a forgiving guy.

When the goalpost was on the Tenth Street, some students put a street closed sign in the middle to hold up traffic. Whose car did they put it directly in front of? President Peterson's. He and his wife got out of the car which they left with their son, and the Mr. and Mrs. President walked the last few blocks to their house with the students.

Every time a Goalpost gets taken down at GT, it always gets taken to the President's house.
